          A Population Census for Tanzania was conducted in 1967, 1978,
          1988, 2002 and 2012.<br>
          Any figures for your required dates of 1982 and 1992 will be
          intercensal estimates based on population growth prediction.<br>
          <br>
          The NBS website has some national level data (age; sex) for
          1967, 1978 and 1988 on the file
          <a moz-do-not-send="true"
