<p class="MsoNormal">I wanted to reach to the TZGISUG list regarding the upcoming Information Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D) Conference in Nairobi, Kenya May 16th - 19th.

<p class="MsoNormal">Over the past 8 years this event has evolved into an unprecedented gathering of international development professionals who are applying innovations in technology. The event draws professionals from around the world who are applying new
technology to better plan, monitor and measure programs across a wide array of topics. The release of the 2030 Sustainable Development and Addis Ababa Action Agendas provides an opportunity to harmonize both humanitarian oriented development work with environmental
protection and conservation. This event represents an unparalleled opportunity to connect with field practitioners working in development programs across multiple sectors across Africa and beyond. As in years past we anticipate
<span style="color:black">executives, senior staff and thought leaders will attend from a broad cross section of organizations: public donors, government agencies, universities, technology firms, banking institutions and NGOs.</span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I want to encourage you to attend the conference and to submit an abstract to become a speaker for the event. As part of the organizing team for the conference Esri is helping organize the “Environmental” Track, which includes topics such
as Water, Land, Oceans, Climate, Conservation and Environmental Protection however a speaking and training opportunities exist for many of the Sustainable Development Goals. There are three sub-themes within each Track; sharing of challenges and success stories,
hands on training for ICT solutions, exploration of new partnerships and business models to achieve sustainability. Please specific which sub-theme you would like to contribute to in your submission. Please find more details below and note that the deadline
for submitting an abstract is <b>Feb. 5<sup>th</sup></b>. <o:p></o:p></p>
